Procrastination
Mine was about finance.
My three actions were:
1 Checking all accounts - This meant getting access to everything - I updated my phone a few months ago and still have apps that I have not been able to access.
2 Settling up spreadsheets - getting them up to date with 2026 data
3 Checking accounts daily. 'Where focus goes that thing grows1'

I have two business accounts, private accounts and credit card accounts along with pensions etc. I used to have a spreadsheet that I filled in often and it kept me upto date where I was.
Things have changed so much since then, leaving my job to care for my daughter so my regular income is no longer a thing. I incurred debt and put my head in the sand - which I know helps nothing. I am currently working on building a couple of business's and I want them in financial order so I can register them properly for tax and the like. I have never done this before and if I am being honest I need session with a good accountant to understand more. It does scare me, but I don't know why because I will understand once told - however I am at 'we only know what we know, right'
I do know how to create spreadsheets, pivot information, capture data etc. As such that is my first focus, get everything set up, look at it daily and keep accurate accounting details.
I have been working on getting everything technically organised over the last couple of weeks, so I had already put in 30 mins in a morning to go through checking my bank accounts, however not once have I kept that appointment.
I loved the session on Wednesday, It has really given me the drive to get things done.
Today I feel like I have made massive improvements, MASSIVE.
I now have access to all my apps therefore accounts. And yes I have had to ring a couple of call centres, 54 mins onto one company, however I did get access to two apps - YEEEAAAHHHH. This means I am able to do the daily checks.
I had a spread sheet for personal, and one for each Business, I have decided to have a master sheet with everything on. Mainly because this gives me one source of the truth and should anything happen to me, its easier for my children to know what I have where - morbid, you could say that, but after last year (lost 3 family members) I want that horrible time to be as easy as possible for them.
So I have created myself a clean spreadsheet with different tabs.
Balances - all the balances are visible & up to date as of today.
I have copied the work that I started on separate spreadsheets for my business's into this one.
I have a tab for house improvement.
I have had enough for today now and very happy with my output.
My three actions were:
1 Checking all accounts βœ…- This meant getting access to everything - I updated my phone a few months ago and still have apps that I have not been able to access.
2 Settling up spreadsheets βœ…- getting them up to date with 2026 data ❌
3 Checking accounts daily. 'Where focus goes that thing grows1'βœ… 1st day done, today.
Next steps:
Update both business tabs - these are pure data sheets. (pivots will give me accounting data)
Create a monthly house expenditure tab and list all the monthly & annual outgoings.
Start using my 30 mins daily from Monday to check the accounts.
