A Softer Way to Enter the Holidays
Here’s a Pre-Holiday Reset Checklist I've created so you can move through the day gently, an opportunity to lower your emotional volume. Not just for yourself, but also for the people around you.
Reset Your Energy
  • Drink a full glass of water before checking messages
  • Take 3 slow breaths and let your shoulders drop
  • Ask: “What actually matters today?”
Lighten the Load
  • Decide one thing you’re not doing this year
  • Prep one small thing now that will help Future You
  • Let “good enough” be enough
Make It Easier for Others
  • Send one message that says: “No pressure, just glad you’re here.”
  • Lower expectations instead of raising them. Have compassion
  • Offer presence, not solutions
Create One Small Moment
  • Play music that makes the room feel warmer
  • Step outside for 2 minutes and reset your nervous system
  • Laugh on purpose
