Introvert Question: Is This Networking or…? 😂

I’m definitely not very internet-savvy, so I’m curious about something.

I posted something on Instagram today, and someone commented “send me this post.” I ended up DMing them, but now I’m wondering… is that just an Instagram thing when someone really likes your post, or can it also be a way of opening the door to conversation/networking?

Like, do you normally just send the post and leave it there, or is that an invitation to start a conversation? 😂

Or am I overthinking this? I’d love to hear how you guys approach these little interactions online.
