Day 17 is live! Did you do the 17 day challenge? If Not, I've Got One Coming!
The program asked me point blank: is it appropriate for you to be wildly successful?
Not moderately successful. Wildly.
For most of my life I might have flinched at that. I might have said something softer.
Not anymore.
It is 100% okay. And nobody has earned it more than me.
I started on food stamps. I sold 21 cars in one month when three weeks of nothing came
before it. I built a paid acting career in a market that said it did not exist. I raised
$30,000 in two nights against real institutional resistance. I became a tenure-track
professor. I co-starred on NBC's Chicago PD. I made award-winning films about brain health.
That is not arrogance. That is me reading back what I crossed to get here.
Here is the thing about blank affirmations. The research shows they backfire for people
who do not yet believe them. The claim feels discrepant from the evidence and the mind
rejects it. What actually works is receipts. You do not write yourself a permission slip.
You read back what you have already built. Then the permission is not something you give
yourself. It is something you earn the right to claim.
The other thing Day 17 gave me was this. When I picture my light fully shining, the
first thing that flows is not my income. It is my generosity. Then my family taken care
of. My children. My church. My greatness was never just for me. That is the whole point
of rising. You reach as high as you can and everyone you love rises with you.
