Reset Society, let me tell you where this work came from... The Professional Reset did not start because I needed another brand, another course, another cute community, or another thing to put my name on. It started in the middle of a truth I could no longer ignore.
There comes a point when the work you once prayed for, prepared for, studied for, fought for, and showed up for no longer feeds you the same way. It is not because you are lazy or because you are ungrateful. It is not because you are incapable. Sometimes the work no longer feeds you because the version of you who needed that space has grown, shifted, healed, awakened, and started asking for something different.
I wrote about that in my Substack piece, โWhen the Work No Longer Feeds Me,โ where I named professional misalignment as a tiredness that sleep cannot fix. Babyy, that is where the reset began!!! It began with the question many educators and professionals are scared to ask out loud:
What happens when I am good at the work, but the work is no longer good for me?
What happens when the role, the title, the classroom, the leadership seat, the business, the responsibility, or the opportunity no longer fits who I am becoming?
What happens when the level-up starts feeling like weight instead of a wish?
Those questions became the doorway.
Too many of us stay in spaces because we are effective. We stay because people need us. We stay because the building depends on us. We stay because the children need us. We stay because the team leans on us. We stay because guilt has dressed itself up as loyalty. We stay because we do not want people to think we are ungrateful. But being good at something does not mean you are called to stay there forever. That was one of the core truths I named in the post.
The Professional Reset started because I had to tell the truth about alignment: alignment can shift.
What once grew can begin to drain you; what once stretched you can begin to suffocate you.
What once looked like an opportunity can become a mirror showing you that you are ready for another room. That does not make you wrong; it makes you awake.
So this community was born from that awakening.
The Professional Reset Society is the room I wish more educators, professionals, leaders, parents, creators, and purpose-driven women had when they started realizing they were tired but not finished.
This is the room for the person who knows, โI cannot keep calling survival success.โ
This is the room for the educator who still loves the work but refuses to keep losing herself inside the system.
This is the room for the professional who knows she is capable but also knows capacity has limits.
This is the room for the woman who has been carrying everything and everybody but is finally ready to ask, โWhat about me?โ
This is the room where we stop normalizing โlife is life-ingโ like that is the final answer.
No!!
We are bringing life back to LIFE.
That is how The Professional Reset started... It is real, authentic, and unapologetic!
It started with honesty, misalignment, and burnout that needed language.
It started with a woman who had to admit that being strong, gifted, needed, educated, and effective did not mean she had to stay in every space that knew how to use her but did not know how to feed her.
Welcome to the room where we stop asking permission to evolve!!
