Guesting for business, or for fun?
The conversation about paying to be a guest got me thinking. Most of my guesting has been focused on my business or highlighting the experience/expertise I've accumulated. That said, I have interests beyond my professional life, and I wouldn't mind guesting for podcasts that have nothing to do with work. I have valuable experiences that aren't linked to my professional world, and I suspect you (all of you) do as well. Because there is more to life than work, I see the value in this effort even if it won't result in revenue.
So, let's do a poll:
Being a guest is strictly business
I haven't been a guest for non-business topics, but I'm not against it
I have been a guest and never touched business topics
