Confirm your shows...
Traveled to West Brookfield, MA, this afternoon for a show and it went very well considering they didn't have me on their schedule...
A week ago I sent the activity director an email confirming the show today at 1pm and she got back to me with an affirmative👍. Great! I get there today and I wasn't on their calendar and the director had been let go a week ago!?
A word of caution to everyone booking gigs at senior communities- CONFIRM YOUR SHOW ON THE DAY OF your show.
I should have known better. My usual philosophy is to show up if the event is in question just in the case the residents are expecting me. :) Don't make the same mistakes that I do 🙏🙏🙏
