Falling stars
hey lovely community
so it's been time for me to make my way back to austria (from australia)
my friend works at qantas - therefore i can get standby tickets - only ctach: a seat must be available
i've read that in the night from 13./14 and 14/15 there will be a lot of falling stars as a phenomenom called the Geminid meteor shower will be happening
so i was hoping to
1) get on the planbe - as my qantas flight just goes til London - and i bought a ticket to innsbruck a month ago already
2) get a window seat
and both things happened :)
i made it on the flight - AND around 10 min ebfore boarding my ticket still said 52 C - which would have been an aisle seat - somehow , when i entered the plane it said 55K - and i had the window seat
i watched a lot of times during the flight and saw a ton of falling stars - so magical
i enjoyed it so much and was very grateful for this experience - told the stewardesses - and they saw some falling as well and were stoked
wanted to let you know. - as being standby - i normally get the middle middle seat - as this is the only one left and so this was extra special
greetings from London - waiting for my last leg back home into winter wonderland innsbruck
and i will see you thursday
