asked for some guest posters, so I wanted to share this thought. I think it fair to say, with social media, and financial pressure on people, and politics, and having to drive your kids around to events, and working 2 jobs, and trying to heal yourself...most people live a very Yang lifestyle. Too much motion, too much stimulus, just too much go go go.
To calm our mind, and live a happier and healthier life, we simply need to reduce the Yang (fire, movement) and increase the Yin (water, stillness).
Slow down
Turn off your phone for a moment
Sit in the stillness and the silence
Breathe deeply
Let go
Even if you can just do this for 5 minutes a day, I believe you will begin to feel a difference in your life.
We have more control over our health, and well being that we imagine sometimes.
