➡️ About the founder.
My name is Simon Gibbs, and I began DCI Industries in 2010 in Australia as an electrical trade business. In 2012, I began getting into solar and then into off-grid solar systems. Since then, I have built DCI Industries with the focus to "make renewable energy better".
Part of my commitment to making renewable energy better is this community. I want to create a community where people can learn and expand their knowledge and skills around off-grid solar power systems and other renewable energy technologies.
📗The Rules
- No solicitation. If you have not been pre-approved by the admin team to post about your own business, then doing so will get you removed from the group. If you post anything that is designed to get people to move away from this group or to sell anything (without pre-approval), you will be removed from the group.
- Be kind. There is no need for any unkind comments. If you see something that you think goes against the group rules or ethics, please report it to the admins. We can deal with things directly.
- No bullying, hate speech or derogatory comments. There is just no need for it. If someone is putting up their opinion that seems to be way off track or really untrue, tag one of the admins in the comments, and we will make any kind of public correction. Most of the time, it is just someone who needs to be kindly educated, not screamed at. Let us handle that.
- Discussion is welcome. We want everyone to join in, ask questions and contribute to posts. Together, we can learn so much.
- Have fun. We have built this community and training library to help you, and we want you to enjoy it. If you have ideas on how we can do things better, please let us know. We love your input.

At the top of the page, there is a tab that says "classroom". This is where all the training courses, downloadable PDFs and other resources are located. You have access to this section whenever you want it, so you can always come back to anything that is in there.
✔️ Sharing
We encourage you to share this community with your friends, other groups (where allowed) and with anyone who may benefit from what we have here. Just use the following link to share with anyone.
