I’m building The Narrative Index because book discovery is broken—and authors deserve consent and credit. We’re creating a community-powered place where authors and readers describe books the way people actually search for them, so the right readers find the right stories.
For authors: share your book details in your own words (no scraping), choose the tags readers use, and reduce “wrong shelf” confusion. Clear, consistent info helps search engines and recommendation tools—Google, retailers, and even AI assistants—understand who your book is for and share it more often.
For readers: help define the terms that matter (tropes, vibes, “this feels like…”) and use them to find better matches than generic categories.
