This is a poem from my unpublished book, “The Beauty of Imperfection.”
It reminds me that my search for beauty—in thoughts, emotions, and experience—inevitably brings the seeking to an end.
It’s a guide to seeing the magic that quietly pulses through everyday life.
May we all be freed from the struggle of longing, and realize that the here and now is a pregnant void… full of potential, waiting to be expressed.
“Breathe in the magic of the infinite,
Where boundaries blur, and time dissolves.
Try to glimpse the eye—no limits exist to begin,
No end in sight, just the reality without as within.
Through every breath and thought seeking to resolve,
A window opens—may we be absolved.”
What helps you remember the magic in your daily life?
