Peace cannot be Purchased.
When you spend much of your life pursuing things that could be earned, acquired, or built.
Money can be earned; skills can be learned; businesses can be built; opportunities can be created.
But peace is different. Peace can not be purchased; it cannot be inherited; it cannot be borrowed from someone else.
Peace has to be cultivated within, how many people search for external solutions to internal unrest. They believe the next achievement will bring peace, the next possession, the next milestone, the next success.
Yet reach those destinations only to discover that inner peace was never waiting there.
External success may improve circumstances, but lasting peace is developed internally.
The true statement is you had met people with little money who carried tremendous peace
and you had met people with great wealth who carried tremendous anxiety.
The difference is often found in what you had learned to value; peace grows where comparison ends.
Peace grows where gratitude increases. Peace grows where purpose becomes clearer than fear. Peace grows where you learn to accept what you cannot control while faithfully stewarding what you can.
Much of life's stress comes from attempting to control outcomes that were never fully ours to control.
