Who is this Joseph Carter guy?
Hey everyone,
I wanted to introduce myself properly. My name is Joseph Carter.
I’ve spent the last 19 years in high-stakes environments, navigating institutional corrections, law enforcement, high-risk security management, and major corporate logistics working alongside some of the strongest unions around. Out of those years, 11 of them have been directly focused on training, from conflict resolution and employee engagement to tactical de-escalation and accountability frameworks.
I love what I do. My drive is entirely focused on watching other people succeed, and I live for the reaction when it all finally comes together for someone (and of course, the applause at the end lol).
I founded Ownyourself25five to solve a massive breakdown on the industry floor: watching qualified workers get promoted to frontline supervisor, only to be left completely out to dry with zero practical leadership tools. They are handed a metrics sheet and told to figure it out. More directly, they are set up to fail.
I'm here to build leaders who lead with a humane touch, unshakeable rapport, and radical accountability.
