Hello language-loving travellers! Welcome to our space for all things travel.
We all know that learning a few key phrases can completely transform a trip, whether you're trying to order a coffee or just say hello to a local.
So, let's get the conversation started!
Where was the last place you travelled to, and did you learn any phrases before you went? If you did, what was the most useful phrase you used?
Or, if you haven't travelled in a while, where you wish you could go and what language you'd love to use there?
I just came back from...well, it was not exactly a holiday since I've been living there for 13 years...London. So I used English every day.
I'm planning to go to Turkey and practice the little Turkish I've learnt at University.
What about you?
