They told me I was too nice....
I used to take that as a compliment.
But somewhere between the warfare I didn't recognize, the purpose I kept almost stepping into, and the battles I kept losing because I didn't know I was in one, I realized that nice wasn't the problem.
Being unequipped was.
That's why Kingdom Garrison exists.
Not as another place to collect inspiration and forget it by Tuesday, or as a highlight reel of someone else's faith. This is a place where we do the actual work — understanding the Word, learning to operate from identity instead of fear, building ministries that don't fall apart under pressure, and living like people who know what they've been assigned to do.
I'm Barbara Johnson, pastor, Bible teacher, author, and the person God apparently decided should spend years getting crushed so she could help other people understand the process.
Here's what I want you to know about this space:
We will go deep. We will be practical. We will not waste your time.
Courses are coming that will challenge how you read Scripture, how you run your ministry, and how you show up in your everyday life. There is community here for people who are tired of being the only one in the room taking their assignment seriously. And there is teaching here that meets you where you are — whether you are just starting to understand your armor or you have been in the battle so long you forgot what peace feels like.
This is your garrison. Station yourself.
The first course will drop soon. Watch this space.
