If you lose your job today, how long could you survive before panic sets in? That number defines your real freedom.
0 weeks - I live paycheck to paycheck
Few months - I have some emergency fund saved
1 full year - some investments + assets will keep me afloat
I will be totally fine. "Job" is just another stream of income amongst many others
