Intro
Hi everyone! My name is Hania and I currently live in San Francisco and work as an engineer in medtech. Originally from Egypt and moved to America for college like 10 years ago.
I got laid off from my previous job in May 2023 and I said fuck it and spent 6 months traveling. After that I landed a job in Nov 2023 and moved back to SF for a hybrid job (in office 3 times a week). It was tough getting back to an office job after tasting that freedom and I am now realizing that I don’t ever wanna go to an office again.
So my current goal is focused on career transition. Not really ready to start a business yet. My main goal is to have a fully remote job. Working remote will allow me to travel freely and have the life I want while also building a career. I’d also love a job that is more aligned with my interests and every though medtech is a great field, it’s just not what I’m passionate about and not what drives me everyday. I would therefore love to work in the music industry (I make music, I go to shows like every week, and it is my main hobby!!!) something in the intersection of music + tech.
