No More Awkward Networking Meetings
When I say "awkward networking meeting," what do you think of?
For many of us, the first thought is the surprise pitch, when we get on the call and the other guy mistakes us for a prospect, rather than a networking partner.
We all (I hope) know that's bad, but, when you try to wrest the meeting back into the right networking space... um... what is the right networking vibe?
What does that even look like?
Even if you both know not to pitch, you may have had a meeting or two where you spent 30 minutes talking about, well, something, but you're not sure if that was actually networking, socializing, or just shooting the breeze.
🤷‍♂️ What Is a Good Networking Meeting?
Most of us know that you shouldn't just pitch at a one to one. We've got that much.
But the question is, what should we be doing?
Next Thursday, October 2nd at 5 PM Eastern, I am offering a class to answer that very question.
No More Awkward Networking Meetings will teach you to...
  • 🎯 Set clear goals so you know exactly what success looks like before the meeting even starts.
  • ❓ Ask powerful questions that open the door to deeper connections and better opportunities.
  • 🧠 Adopt the right mindset so every conversation feels natural, productive, and energizing.
  • 🤝 Make every meeting win–win by creating value for the other person while moving your own goals forward.
  • 📬 Follow up with ease using a simple method that keeps you top of mind without overwhelming you or them.
The class is only $69, and included in The Entrepreneur Village Inner Circle Membership.
💡 A Quick Tip For One to Ones
Before the class next week, I'll leave you with this one, powerful tip.
If you find yourself in one of those awkward meetings where you're not really sure what you should be talking about, do this...
Seek a problem to solve.
Your counterpart has a problem. It could be in their business, their personal life, their health, their relationships, or their Chess game. Your job is to find it, and offer a solution to it.
You're probably not going to solve it, but you can certainly offer them an introduction or some advice to help them get closer to a solution.
It's not about solving their problem. It's that the exercise of seeking a problem will give you a genuine interest and curiosity about them which will create a more compelling and engaging conversation.
