Eye write to help you see what I hear.
I am a world-renowned author that people love to hear speak.
I am not an artist but I can paint a picture with words to help you see what I say/write.
It’s sometimes too many voices to capture at once but I’ll do my best.
I like my writing and I think that most people that read what I write like it too.
I am just scared to actually share it because I don’t know exactly what I want to say.
But I know for sure that if I don’t say anything then it will never be heard.
Or said.
Or written.
Is writing like talking to yourself?
If you write it, did you say it or did you hear it?
Did you have to say it to yourself to then read it and that gave you the ability to write it?
Can you write without hearing first?
Is your brain just constantly writing and you’re just not reading?
Or is it constantly talking and you’re not listening.
Or are you listening?
Or reading?
Or writing?
Or talking?
What are you doing?
Or are you doing nothing at all?
This is what my mind does constantly and I like that I can write what I think.
My hands just sometimes hurt when I try to keep up.
My fingers are cramping…
Maybe this is what I am supposed to be doing.
This is definitely what I love to do.
One of my favorite parts of the Bible is James 1:2-8.
I love it because Eye have seen and personally witnessed not only in my life but in the lives of countless others that the hardest times in our lives are consistently the times that make us stronger.
Those challenges or difficulties are what make us who we are.
They are why we are how we are.
They are what help us to become who we are.
The good times in life are great but the hard times are what build us.
Nothing gets stronger without enduring pain first.
Be thankful for challenges of many kinds.
Testing of your faith creates perseverance and perseverance is what makes you mature and complete. Not lacking anything.
And if you do lack anything, ask God for wisdom.
God gives generously. Without finding fault.
But when you ask you must believe and not doubt.
If you doubt you are like a wave blown and tossed by the sea.
If you doubt you shouldn’t expect anything from the Lord. Those people are double minded and unstable in all they do.
That’s my version but the actual scripture.
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.”
James 1:2-8 NIV
After writing all this about Eyes and writing.
This was today’s verse of the day.
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
Here is the rest of the scripture.
“Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.””
1 Peter 3:8-12 NIV
Then it led me here.
“Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth.”
Psalms 34:12-16 NIV
I hear you God and I’m sharing what you’re telling me to share.
I just hope someone reads it… or hears it…
