Why I started this group (and who it’s for)
Hey 👋 I’m Jody — owner of a dog grooming business I built from scratch.
I didn’t create this group to show off grooms or post highlight reels.
I created it because most groomers struggle with the same hidden problems nobody teaches you:
• Quiet weeks followed by chaos
• Price shoppers and last-minute cancellations
• Dogs that take forever but pay the same
• Never knowing if next month will be busy or dead
• Being good at grooming but not at getting consistent clients
Over the last year I’ve been figuring out how to actually stabilise bookings — not just get random customers, but build repeat ones so the calendar stops stressing you out.
This community is for groomers who want a real business, not just random appointments.
Inside I’ll be sharing:
– what worked
– what failed
– client psychology
– pricing structure
– ways to stop relying on luck for bookings
