Self Talk
I feel like one of the things we all have in common is how we talk to ourselves. Many of us generally have negative self talk because that is how we were talked to at one time or another. I know I felt like I could never do anything right and I shouldn't bother anyone. That really messed me up as an adult. So I had to teach myself to catch myself talking negative and then change those thoughts. It has been the best thing to help me start to see that I was actually worthy of taking up space. I started to realize I didn't want to continue feeling like I was bothering people by just talking with them. So I got comfortable being uncomfortable and started initiating more conversations. I found that I wasn't bothering anyone that I talked to and they really wanted to talk with me!! Anyone else have something like this?
