Trigger words
Recently a woman was very upset about the term “girl’s girl” because she wants to be addressed as a “woman”. Why do we give so much power to words? If we gave our attention to intent, meaning, purpose- over a word that offends you, think of the changes we could make. The negative feelings that are unnecessary. The judgements we make of people. Words only have the power you give them.
