Block your shooting + editing time. See what you can get done in an hour, two hours, four hours etc. From there, back into what WORKS REPEATEDLY in your schedule.
As above, so below--consistency is key. I know I've said that a couple of times HOWEVER. It's the truth.
Just because you don't have the best gear/camera/mic/thumbnails in the world, is not an excuse. Use what you have, grow from it, and invest when it is FEASIBLE. The worst think you can do is drop $$$$ on gear that you eventually will never use because you think it will MOTIVATE you to create more (speaking from experience).
