📌 The Creative Hunt Community Rules
Welcome to The Creative Hunt—a community built for photographers and videographers who are passionate about growing their businesses, refining their craft, and learning from one another. Our goal is to create the best place online to help creatives build profitable careers while supporting each other along the way.
1. Be Respectful & Professional
Treat every member with kindness and respect. Healthy discussions and different opinions are encouraged, but personal attacks, harassment, discrimination, or negativity will not be tolerated.
2. Post in the Right Niche
Help keep the community organized by posting in the Niche that best fits your topic. Whether it's corporate events, conferences, headshots, branding, pricing, lighting, editing, marketing, or business growth, using the correct Niche makes it easier for members to find valuable conversations.
If you're posting about weddings, family portraits, seniors, maternity, real estate, sports, or other specialties, please use the appropriate Niche.
3. No Unapproved Promotions
This community exists to educate, support, and inspire—not to serve as a marketplace. Self-promotion, affiliate links, sales posts, lead generation, or advertising your products or services are not permitted without prior approval from an admin.
4. Respect Privacy & Original Work
Protect client confidentiality and respect fellow creators. Do not share private conversations, client information, or another member's work without permission. Always give proper credit.
5. Search Before You Ask
Before creating a new post, use the search feature. Your question may have already been answered, helping keep discussions organized and reducing duplicate posts.
6. Give More Than You Take
Don't just ask for help—offer it too. Share your experiences, lessons learned, behind-the-scenes insights, workflows, and resources. A strong community is built through contribution.
7. Keep Feedback Constructive
When offering critiques, be honest, respectful, and helpful. The goal is to help others improve—not tear them down. Likewise, receive feedback with an open mind.
8. No Spam or AI Content Dumps
Avoid low-effort posts, repetitive questions, spam, excessive AI-generated content without personal insight, or content created solely to drive engagement. Add your own experience and perspective to the conversation.
9. Celebrate Wins & Share Your Journey
Booked a new client? Landed your first corporate gig? Upgraded your gear? Share your victories! We believe celebrating progress motivates the entire community.
10. Have Fun & Build Relationships
Business is important, but so are the people behind it. Network, collaborate, ask questions, encourage others, and enjoy being part of a community that wants to see you succeed.
🚀 Our Mission
Learn. Create. Network. Grow.
Our mission is to build the premier community for photographers and videographers who want to elevate their craft, grow profitable businesses, and create meaningful work. Every member has something valuable to contribute, and together we're raising the standard for our industry.
