🇩🇪 The ONE Trick That Makes German Cases Easier

Let’s be honest.

It’s not the cases that are confusing.

It's trying to remember everything at the same time.

So today, we simplify.

Instead of thinking:

Nominativ - Akkusativ - Dativ - Genitiv - Articles - Endings - Tables.

We focus on ONE question:

👉 Is there movement or not?

Look at this:

Ich gehe in die Stadt. (I go into the city.) ➡ Movement → Akkusativ

Ich bin in der Stadt. (I am in the city.) ➡ No movement → Dativ

Same preposition.

Different case.

The difference is movement.

Now try this:

1️⃣ Ich lege das Buch ___ den Tisch.

2️⃣ Das Buch liegt ___ dem Tisch.
