Most leaders are overachievers.
If you’re part of this dad’s project, you probably in that club.
I don’t struggle with motivation. I struggle with trying to do too much at one time.
I try to do too many things every day. And at the end of the day, I feel busy… but not always effective.
I’ve been reading The 5 Types of Wealth by Sahil Bloom. One idea hit me hard:
Forget the complex systems. Go back to a note card and a pen.
Each night, write down 3 things you must get done tomorrow. Then be relentless about finishing those 3 before the day ends.
That’s it.
It’s simple—but it forces clarity. It eliminates distraction. And it builds discipline.
Here are mine for tomorrow:
• 2 uninterrupted hours on the Manhart Coaching website
• Connect with 3 potential coaching clients
• Repost the camper I’m selling
One more thing that stuck with me: Those 3 tasks must tie back to no more than 5 goals in your life.
Not 15. Not 25. Not “everything.”
Five goals you're accomplishing.
That constraint has changed how I think.
If you’re feeling scattered heading into this week, try it.
3 things. No more.
Then go win.
Remain Encouraged,
Brian
