Old Me in 2018…
I was overwhelmed, constantly stressed, and unsure how to manage it all.
As a college student:
💸 Financial worries: Managing a tight budget and student loans was a constant source of stress.
⏰ Procrastination: I struggled to stay on top of deadlines, often leaving tasks until the last minute.
🌪️ Stress & anxiety: The weight of academic pressures often left me feeling overwhelmed.
Fast forward to 2021:
Graduated a confident Occupational Therapist (OT).
💼 Financial stability: Through disciplined financial planning and budgeting, I achieved stability.
⏱️ Productivity and time management: I became proactive and organized, excelling in both personal and professional life.
🧘♂️ Relaxation and peace: Embracing effective stress management techniques brought me inner calm.
And now in 2024:
I've launched a college life coaching business to pass on what I've learned to support students & young professionals on similar journeys.
My transformation wasn’t overnight.
Mentors played crucial roles:
- Jordan B Peterson provided insights into stress management and setting achievable goals.
- Cal Newport helped me develop effective time management strategies for productivity.
- Dave Ramsey guided me with financial advice, empowering me to gain control over my finances.
Today, as a Travel Pediatric OT and College Life Coach, I empower Students & Young Professionals:
Step 1: Prioritize Self-Care 🌿
Making self-care a daily priority nurtures mental and physical well-being, essential for managing stress effectively.
Step 2: Develop Strong Time Management Skills ⏳
Utilizing planners, apps, and tools helps organize tasks and break down projects into manageable steps, enhancing productivity.
Step 3: Build a Support Network 🤝
Surrounding yourself with mentors, supportive friends, and a positive community fosters growth and resilience.
Step 4: Embrace Continuous Learning 📚
Stay curious, seek new knowledge, and learn from experiences to evolve personally and professionally.
Keep growing my friends! <3 :)
