From a Freezer Truck to $100M+ in Sales: My Story of Grit, Growth, and Redefining the Game
I didn’t read a sales book.
I didn’t sit in a classroom.
I didn’t shadow a guru.
At 12 years old, I picked up a bag of ties and started knocking on doors.
Not because I wanted to play entrepreneur.
Because I had to.
I was a kid from humble beginnings, and money didn’t just “show up.” If I wanted to help my family eat, I had to figure it out, quick. I walked the streets selling ties to working men, door after door, smile after smile, no script, no plan. I learned how to connect. I learned how to read people. I learned how to sell.
That was my first taste of what sales could do and I never forgot it.
By 13, I was pulling in $4K to $7K a month, a number most adults don’t hit, and one I wasn’t even old enough to legally cash on my own. But I wasn’t just earning… I was learning.
A couple of years later, I leveled up.. selling quality meats door-to-door out of a freezer truck. Yes, a literal truck full of frozen food. Hot pavement. Cold product. Random neighborhoods. But I thrived. I started consistently earning $7K to $10K a month, cold-calling in the most old-school way possible. It was hard, it was unglamorous.. but it was real. And it’s where I built my process.
No one trained me. I trained myself.
I built what worked from experience, not theory.
And what I built started working everywhere.
Eventually, I stepped into the corporate world telecommunications sales.
But I didn’t hang up my D2D boots.
I brought that same street-trained energy to the table.
Within months, I was ranked #1.. not just in my company, but out of hundreds of thousands of reps worldwide. That success grew into an executive role, where I closed over $60 million in personal sales and helped lead a team that generated more than $120 million. We didn’t follow the outdated playbook. We followed connection, psychology, and real sales skill.
Then came insurance sales. Cold calls. Kitchen table closings. Deep, emotional conversations with clients. I applied the same principles.. and again, rose to the top. I became #1 in the country, generating over $85 million in policy value, and climbed into a director’s seat with another multi-seven-figure track record.
But as I looked around, something kept bugging me…
The traditional sales training everyone was clinging to?

Most reps were being taught to pitch features, follow rigid scripts, and chase quotas with no real understanding of human connection. And yet, I had spent a decade proving that the exact opposite approach, relationship-first, psychology-backed selling, is what actually drives sales in every industry.

I transitioned into marketing and advertising sales, restructured businesses from the inside, trained peers, redesigned team processes, and helped companies hit numbers they never thought possible. Not by being louder. But by being smarter. More human. More real.
