Needs Vs Wants Homework
Do a percentage calculation of your needs vs your wants? Total all of the expenses your wrote down for that paycheck, then whatever you color-coded wants total that number and whatever expenses you color-coded needs total that number then divide the needs over the total expenses and divide the wants over the total expenses then multiply by 100 to get the percentage for each.
Example:
Total Expenses = 15
Total Needs = 11
Total Wants = 4
Needs Percentage - (11/15)*100 =73% (*rounded)
Wants Percentage - (4/15)*100 =27% (*rounded)
In the example above we have about a 70/30 split which is good if this is you congrats🎉 lets improve this and take it up ⬆ a notch and try to live around 80/20 or live like no one else now while you sacrifice for your goals with a 90/10 split! I know you can do it 💪🏾!!!
