My story and journey so far as a caregiver
Hi everyone hows everyone doing, hows your day been. Has it been a good day. Just wanted to reach out to everyone . And just let you know a bit about my journey as a caregiver from my personal aspect . My Elderly parents are in there 80s My Dad is 86 and suffers From Stage 4 Parkinson's and has deteriorated very very quickly over the last 12 months, he is very much at thrclast stages know. We first saw signs of his condition when he was in his late 60s/early 70s but since the pandemic his condition went down hill a lot quicker and then progressed to where we are now.Unfortunately I don't live as close to I like but I go back and care for my father as offend of I can but we also have paid carers too . To see my father deteriot as he has has not been an easy one but the most important thing is to keep them at home and comfortable being a caregiver come with so many feeling. Does anyone else have relatives how suffer from Parkinson's or dementia would be great to hear others in thus community story.
