Conference Championship Sunday is here, and if there’s one theme I’m riding with today, it’s simple: defense still wins championships. Let’s get into it.
Broncos vs. Patriots
This one feels weird in the best way. I expect a close, grind-it-out game where every possession matters. The Broncos’ defense is the difference here — they’ll either win it outright or keep it tight all the way through. I’m taking Broncos +3.5, and I’m even calling a defensive touchdown.
If Drake Maye pulls this off, I don’t think there’s any debate — he’s the clear-cut MVP. It won’t be easy with the backup situation for Denver, but I think they find a way to get it done.
Final Score:Broncos 27 – Patriots 21
Seahawks vs. Rams
Same story, different game. Defense sets the tone.
I’m taking the Seahawks to pull this one out. Sam Darnold and JSN do enough to light up the board, but the real difference comes on the other side of the ball. Seattle’s defense brings constant pressure, and I don’t think Stafford ever gets comfortable.
Final Score:Seahawks 17 – Rams 10
