🧠🐿️ Our Little Squirrels (and Other Adorable Critters)
As a mom of a kid with ADHD—and a former special ed teacher—I lovingly refer to our kids as squirrels (or other adorable critters).
You know the type:
• limited attention span
• forgetful (but sincere)
• distracted by everything
• loses shoes… constantly
• and somehow still so incredibly cute
These traits aren’t flaws—they’re part of how our kids experience the world. Fast brains. Curious minds. Big hearts.
💛 Here’s the question for you:
What “critter” does your child remind you of—and what do you secretly love about it?
Drop it in the comments 🐿️🦊🐝
Let’s normalize this with humor, compassion, and a whole lot of love.
(And yes… if you’ve ever searched for missing shoes while laughing and crying at the same time—you belong here.
