Okay, I want to share something vulnerable with this community because you deserve the real version, not the polished one.
A few months ago, I started building The Calm Hustle because I was burned out and realised I couldn't keep living in constant hustle mode.
And if I'm being completely honest?
We haven't made any money from it yet.
No big launch story. No "I made £10k in my first month" screenshot.
Just a small community, a lot of learning, and a decision to keep showing up anyway.
There have been evenings where I've sat with a coffee wondering if I'm wasting my time. Wondering if anyone actually wants what I'm trying to build.
But I made a promise to myself: give it time. Build it properly. Focus on helping people first and let the rest come later.
So that's what I'm doing.
Showing up with daily posts.
Having real conversations.
Creating resources.
Learning what people are struggling with.
Trying to build something that genuinely helps people create a calmer way of working and living.
Because I think a lot of us have been sold the idea that if something doesn't make money immediately, it's failing.
I don't believe that anymore.
Sometimes the early stage is simply about building trust, learning what resonates, and becoming the kind of person who can sustain the thing you're creating.
The truth is, even without income yet, this community has already given me something valuable: perspective, encouragement, and the reminder that there are other people trying to build differently too.
So I'd love to ask you:
If you're building something right now, what's the hardest part?
Is it finding people? Staying consistent? Self-doubt? Not knowing if it'll ever work?
Let's have an honest conversation about it. That's what communities like this are for. 💙👇
