Why Selling Your Own Clutter Is Different From Starting a Business
Why Selling Your Own Clutter Is Different From Starting a Business
As I’ve been sharing about selling items from my storage unit, a question naturally comes up:
“Is this the same thing as starting a resale business?”
The answer is no.
What we’re talking about in this community is much simpler.
We are selling things we already own but no longer use.
Most homes contain items that were purchased for a reason at one time:
• kitchen appliances
• furniture
• hobby equipment
• tools
• décor
Over time our lives change, and some of those things quietly stop being used.
Instead of letting them sit indefinitely, we can convert them into cash.
This isn’t about buying inventory or flipping items.
It’s simply about recognizing that unused belongings can still have value to someone else.
And the surprising part is that even selling a few items can make a noticeable difference.
Over the next few days I’ll show more of the actual process I use.
