Let’s talk about real freedom today. Not the fluffy kind. The kind where you create something once… and it can sell over and over again while you’re living your life.
If you’ve been overthinking digital products, I want to lovingly shake that pressure off you right now. This can be simple. You do not need a tech team. You do not need a huge audience. You just need a product and a system.
Here’s your step-by-step roadmap to getting a digital product up for sale:
Step 1: Create your images or videos in Midjourney
Generate your artwork, mockups, journal pages, coloring pages, social media content, wall art — whatever your niche is. Refine your prompts. Download your final high-resolution files.
Step 2: Save and organize your files
Create a folder on your computer. Name everything clearly. Keep it clean and professional. This is your digital inventory.
Step 3: Import your files into Canva
Upload your images or videos into Canva. Now you can design the final product — add text, branding, instructions, covers, bonuses, and create a polished presentation. Canva makes it simple to drag, drop, and design beautifully.
Step 4: Package it into something valuable
Turn those files into a bundle, workbook, template set, printable pack, or content kit. Add a cover page. Add instructions. Make it feel complete and intentional. People don’t just buy files — they buy solutions.
Step 5: Export your final product from Canva
Download it as a PDF, PNG bundle, MP4, or whatever format fits your product. Double-check quality. Open the file. Make sure everything looks perfect.
Step 6: Upload it to Google Drive
Create a shareable folder. Upload your files. Set permissions to “view only” so buyers can download their own copy without editing your original.
Step 7: List it for sale
Upload it to Etsy, your personal website, or your bio link storefront. When someone purchases, they receive the Google Drive link to download their product.
That’s it.
No warehouse.
No shipping labels.
No inventory stacking up in your living room.
Just creation. Systems. Freedom.
This is what I love about digital products. You can build them during quiet hours. You can build them without showing your face. You can build them while protecting your energy. And once they’re live? They can sell while you’re at dinner, resting, traveling, or spending time with family.
