Harken to this brethren:
What with all the talk of old tech, mp3s and whatnot... For those that don't know Anna's blog is a well known archivist who's goal is to document and preserve all information on the internet. Theyve recently started to take on the monumental task of backing up the spotify library.
That's around a petabyte of data. (1PB = 1,000TB = 1,000,000GB). So much music they had to reduce the quality just to fit it all.
