Here comes the weekend ...
What are you doing? Any birding plans? I've been using google maps satellite images to try and find some new spots close to my new house and have found another morass to check out (never heard that term til I moved here, but it's marked on lots of maps).
Plus my new 'local' a short loop walk less than a kilometre away which is fantastic for forest birds - although lots of tall trees, so a little challenging for the photographer - but you know I like a challenge!
Here's a few snippets from another Morass a 5 minute drive away. I was a little sad leaving so many good spots behind but looks like there's more than enough to keep me busy in East Gipps, and dare I say it, even better for birds than Pambula!
