🤔 Why is this so hard?
1 John 3:16 NIV
[16] This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
❤️ So often we hear people say that they would die for one another
"I would die for my kids" or "I would die for my spouse"
😅 And yet we won't deny fleshly temptations, second guess our impulses, or accept correction appropriately.
👇 Why do you think it's easier to say that we will die for someone but we don't say we will refrain from anger for someone?
