Did you know broccoli contains phytoestrogens?
So does kale. And flaxseed. And strawberries. And chickpeas. And red clover...you get the idea.
Phytoestrogens show up in so many of the foods we already eat and the herbs we've used for centuries.
Which makes me wonder: if they were truly dangerous, would mother nature have tucked them into so much of what she offers us (in varying amounts, depending on the food)?
We are one with nature and we are designed to eat from her bountiful garden.
So, on our first group call next week, I'm going to share more about phytoestrogens and how I approach them.
Because depending on who you ask, they're either a gift or something to be afraid of.
(And why not start here? This group is called The Beyond Estrogen Collective; so let's start by getting beyond the phytoestrogen confusion 😊)
👉 P.S - Soy gets all the attention. What's one food you're surprised to see on this list?
