Lesson 1: Welcome to the Flight Deck ✈️
Why traditional productivity broke your brain, and how to finally build a cockpit that works.

Hey everyone, and welcome to Ground School!
If you are here, it’s because you are a neurodivergent creator, entrepreneur, or high-performer who knows you are capable of extraordinary things, but you are absolutely exhausted from trying to force your brain into systems that weren't built for you.
First, let me tell you something you need to hear: It is not your fault.
If you have built perfect schedules only to hit a wall of Functional Freeze, if you've lost hours to doom-scrolling, or if you’ve beaten yourself up for "laziness" when your brain simply ran out of executive activation energy, you are not broken.
You’ve just been trying to run a highly sensitive, high-performance supercomputer on outdated, neurotypical software.
In this space, we are throwing out the old rules. We aren't here to "fix" your autism or "cure" your ADHD. We are here to accept, organize, and optimize them so you can finally succeed without the constant cycle of anxiety and burnout.
The Flight Crew: Who is Running Your Brain? ✈️
To navigate this journey, you need to meet the two main players inside your head:
- The Pilot (Your ADHD traits): The creative, high-energy engine. The Pilot runs on novelty, hyperfocus, and passion, but struggles with task initiation, transitions, and time blindness. When the Pilot gets bored or overwhelmed, they stall.
- The Controller (Your Autistic traits): The strategist who craves structure, predictable data, and clear rules. The Controller builds the perfect, colour-coded plans, but experiences intense guilt and anxiety when the system falls apart.
Most of your frustration comes when The Controller’s perfect plans meet The Pilot’s refusal to launch.
When these two clash, it causes a systems short-circuit: Cognitive Paralysis (Functional Freeze).
This program is designed to act as your Air Traffic Control. We are going to teach your Pilot and Controller how to stop fighting and start working together as a cohesive flight crew.
Your Low-Demand First Step 👇
We don't do high-friction, overwhelming tasks here. To complete Lesson 1 and unlock your momentum, let's start with a tiny, zero-stress action in the comments below:
- Introduce yourself: What are you currently building, creating, or working on?
- What is your Pilot's favourite hyperfocus right now? 🌀 (No matter how random, weird, or unrelated to work it is!)
Let's stop fighting our brains, and start flying. ✈️
