Flirting with the Day
I wake up and I kiss the day
winking my eye
at the sun in the sky
I wave seductively
at the looming trees
It's no wonder they wave back at me
I giggle confidently
as I strut my strut
and I move my hips
to the beat of the wind
I'm not in a rut
The sun knows me by name
kisses me
Victory knows me intimately
So I kiss the day
flirt with it
I make it mines
