Dreamy
There you stood in your army green
Most handsome man I ever seen
Big and strong the macho type
You don’t like the attention or the hype
You act shy and walk away
My heart is screaming please stop, stay
At that moment you turn around
Like you heard my hearts crying sound
You look at me with a peculiar grin
This was going to be intense knew it then
Seems our hearts were silently speaking
Our souls connected love we were seeking
You and I we were just along for the ride
We both come boldly walking by each others side
Looking back now it seems like a dream
This is real and things aren’t always as they seem
We held on to hope we had for love
Believing each had been sent from above
So let them talk and let them gossip
But our love they can’t tear nor rip
We are bound with a chord so strong
To believe their lies would just be wrong
