Todayโฆ something bigger than poetry happened.
One of our own, James Humecky our Poem of the Week winner stepped up in a way that honestly stopped me in my tracks.
He donated $20 so someone else could chase their dream.
That someone is Kasper Englundโฆ
whoโs had a rough yearโฆ
who thought this opportunity might pass them byโฆ
and is now in tears because of one act of kindness.
Let that sink in for a second.
Not a like.
Not a comment.
A real, tangible moment that changed someoneโs dayโฆ maybe even more than that.
And it didnโt stop thereโฆ
Shoutout to Jamesโs community, Somatic Pleasure, for being part of that energy because people donโt just do things like this out of nowhere. That kind of generosity comes from the environment you build and the values you stand on.
