A spoken word dedicated to all the shy and silent people.
When i talk about injustice i see around me
Noone bothers to look at me
I am dumbfounded
Don’t be, someone said. You’re just not loud enough.
If my anger is based on the parameter of my loudness and dramatic performance, then I will never be loud enough
I am someone who never yells, never shouts
Oh you thinking then
am i all about kisses and pouts
You put in these boxes of expressions
When voice is not the only parameter to guess the emotions
I might be soft, I might be mute but it pains me when you say when you get angry you look cute
If it’s all about looks, i will then always defy
All my emotions and feelings, where will they fly
You made my sky collapse with the highest frequency
All i could think, don’t you have any kind of decency
While thats the only thing i was always taught
I am still learning how to rebel a lot
So please bare with me, oh mighty people
I may still be new in this world of expression
But don’t you get any wrong impression
What you considered just a small needle
Is laced with poison to take your lives so fidle.
