Canadian Non-Reg Account question.
Hey Community, for 2026 is the first year that i will have a non-reg account. have a question about next tax season. ( I live on Vancouver Island , B.C.)
I am only holding only MSTE in this account for now will use the dividends to buy other Canadian ETF'S that qualifie for the Canadian tax break down the road.
I talked to my accountant and they said i will probably have to pay taxes on my dividends earned in this non - reg account, but from listening to the Friday live stream sounds like i might not have to?
My question's
-If i pull the Dividend out of the non - reg from MSTE and put in my chequing account do i pay tax on the dividend's?
-If i leave the Dividend in the Non-Reg account would i still pay tax?
