Why I don't follow up
People that are sincere with their goals.
Do not have to be reminded of them.
I've found that constantly following people up usually doesn't create action.
It creates another excuse to delay it.
"I'll get started after I reply."
"I'll do it this weekend."
"I've just been busy."
The conversation continues, but nothing changes.
You can always tell the difference between someone who wants the outcome.
And someone who likes the idea of the outcome.
The first person executes.
The second person keeps looking for another video, another guide, another strategy, or another piece of information that feels like progress without requiring them to take action.
Information has never been the bottleneck.
Execution has.
