I started as a lube tech at dealership before I even graduated from mechanic trade school. Worked my way up at a dealership for five years , then in 2018 I opened my own shop. Since then I’ve grown it, bought the building, built a team, and we’re doing around $1.2M a year and still growing.
This group is for technicians who want more out of this industry.
If you want to become a stronger tech, make more money, or eventually open your own shop, I’ll show you what worked for me and what didn’t. We can talk about building a plan, talk about location, equipment, hiring, pay structure all of it.
I’m still building, still learning, but I’ve been through it and I’m here to help.
Not saying my journey is the only way but going from $0 to grossing $1.2 million / year in 8 years definitely has taught me a lot and I’m willing to share my experiences and mistakes. Now I manage a team of 7 people. Goal is to hit $2 million /year in the next 3 years.
