Today I was feeling like crap because I keep getting mad at myself for being too scared to talk to the seniors in my class and I always feel left out because the kids at my table talk a lot and I don’t(at least in that class).
So after school and I was in a crappy mood and I didn’t feel like going to workout. However, I used my discipline to go to the weight room and I pumped out a workout. And I felt amazing. This taught me that happiness can be hacked by doing the activities that make you happy.
Weightlifting and exercise for me has always been a remedy and I think it’s important for people to find the things that make them happy. For a lot of young men, it’s likely weight lifting or some kind of exercise/sport. But who knows maybe drawing makes you happy. You need these activities that can easily flip your mood instead of being all sulky and starting to question the meaning of life. You just need to get out of your head.
