As I get into our Holiday gatherings I hope you remember tomorrow, we celebrate the birth of Jesus —
“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.” (Luke 2:11)
He came because we needed Him, not because we had it all figured out.
Jesus is perfect — “tempted in every way… yet without sin.” (Hebrews 4:15)
We don’t have to be.
His grace is enough — “My grace is sufficient for you…” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
So if the gifts aren’t wrapped perfectly…
the house isn’t spotless…
the kids are wild…
or you’re exhausted instead of merry —
You are still loved.
You are still chosen.
You are still enough.
✨ Merry Christmas.
✨ Don’t worry about being perfect.
✨ Rest in grace today. Tomorrow the gift is celebrated.
And yes, I am being as raw as I can be with the amount of laundry and gifts that I still have to wrap behind me!!! lol I will own it. I always could have started earlier in the season. But yes I’m used to this choas lol 🤪
